Retail Store Manager
Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities:

1. Develop business plan and strategy in his/her assigned area focusing on enhancing sales growth.

2. Ensure distributor / partner achieving his monthly, quarterly and annual sales target with proper payment

conduct.

3. Plan, execute, and evaluate in store local marketing /promotion program on top of national program

organised by marketing department.

4. Coordinate with customer and other related parties to ensure successful execution of Philips marketing

program (national + local) in his/her respected customers.

5. Coordinate with distributor / partner and internal team in Philips to ensure correctness of price setting at

customer / partner for regular products, new product introduction, promotion and discount program, etc.

6. Coordinate with distributor / customer and internal team in Philips (Supply Chain, Finance, Product &

Marketing, etc.) to ensure the smoothness of order and delivery process.

7. Maintain the validity and or accuracy of product portfolio at key account / customers, specifically related to

new product introduction and phase out products.

8. Identify competency gap of distributor’s team (Sales Promotion staff) and initiate and or conduct training

accordingly.

9. Conduct field visit to gather the market information such as competitor activities, market condition related

to Philips’s products, and also to evaluate the effectiveness / performance of key account /customer

team (sales promoters, products display, or other support) in serving the market need.

10. Prepare the necessary report (monthly or quarterly) subject for analysis and improvement action.

11. Conduct regular (quarterly) business review with distributor / partner and internal team in Philips. Close

monitoring and follow up of action plan as agreed during business review is mandatory.

12. Maintain and develop good professional relationship with distributor /partner

Additional responsibility

1. Keep follow up distributor situation and ensure that all payment to Philips is made on time and

transferred to Philips bank account.

2. Collect market information and monitor the competitor activities in his/her area, and reported to

his/her manager every month.

3. Inform, advised, serve, and follow up customer input and or complaint in order to provide the

excellence service to customers.

4. Active participate and support other company program such as CSR (Company Social

Responsibility), BIC (Business Improvement Competition), etc. related to his/her customer.

Requirements:

·         Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics or equivalent.

·         At least 3 year(s) of working experience as Area sales Supervisor or Key Account Management for lighting and or other consumer goods category.

·         Preferably Manager / Assistant Managers specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.

·         Full-Time position(s) available

·         Good personality and interpersonal skil

·         Ability to work independently without much supervision

·         Has an acceptable Communication Skill incl. Basic Computer literate

·         Has a good coordination capability

·         Willing to travel and spent most of the time in the Market Field

·         Has an ability to make Market analysis and programs evaluation

·         Has an unquestionable credibility records.

·         Has high intensive product knowledge and discipline
